The Role Management page in the Sira Recruitment System allows administrators to define, edit, and manage user roles and their associated permissions.
This manual provides a detailed guide on how to use the Role Management page effectively.

Role List Tableโ€‹

The Role List Table displays all the roles defined in the system.
Hereโ€™s a breakdown of the columns:

ColumnDescription
#Serial number of the role in the list.
Role NameName of the role (e.g., Admin, Employer, Recruiter).
PermissionsPermissions assigned to the role.
ActionsActions that can be performed on the role (e.g., Edit, Delete).

Key Actionsโ€‹

1. Create New Roleโ€‹

Purpose: Define a new role with specific permissions.

How to Use:

  1. Click the Create New Role button.
  2. Enter the Role Name.
  3. Select the permissions to assign to the role.
  4. Click Save to create the role.

2. Search Rolesโ€‹

Purpose: Quickly find roles by name or permission.

How to Use:

  1. Enter the search term in the Search roles box.
  2. Press Enter or click the Search icon to filter the role list.

3. Edit Roleโ€‹

Purpose: Update the permissions or details of an existing role.

How to Use:

  1. Locate the role in the list.
  2. Click the Actions menu (โ‹ฎ) next to the role.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Update the role details or permissions.
  5. Click Save to apply changes.

4. Delete Roleโ€‹

Purpose: Remove a role that is no longer needed.

How to Use:

  1. Locate the role in the list.
  2. Click the Actions menu (โ‹ฎ) next to the role.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. Confirm the deletion in the dialog box.

  • Role Naming: Use clear and descriptive names for roles to avoid confusion.
  • Permission Assignment: Assign only the necessary permissions to each role to maintain security.
  • Regular Audits: Review roles and permissions regularly to ensure they align with current requirements.
  • Avoid Duplicates: Ensure that roles with similar permissions are consolidated to avoid redundancy.
